Senior Mining Engineer
Job Responsibilities:
- [Company] . ([Company] ) is currently recruiting for a Senior Mining Engineer to be located in the Lakewood, Colorado office.
Responsibilities include:
- Review and provide critical concerns for existing mines,
- Build operating and capital cost models for projects as required by our clients to allow Concept thru Feasibility Studies to occur, may include NI43-101, so QP status for Canadian Companies would be important.
- Support all phases of the feasibility process and especially Geology, Geo-Technical and Metallurgy to ensure models allow effective planning in those areas.
Requirements include:
- BS or MS Degree in Mining
- 7+ years related experience
- Qualified to review, update and build new models to client specifications
- Hold QP status for NI43-101 for resources and reserves
- Solid working knowledge of Vulcan
- Willing to work in a mentoring and team based environment and assist with the growth of less senior Engineers
