Environmental Air Quality Scientist/Engineer

  • This position will involve evaluating and presenting information regarding the atmospheric emissions from proposed processes and equipment in support of state and federal permit applications.  Job duties will include performing engineering calculations, compiling permit application documents, interacting with [Company] managers and administrative personnel, coordinating with clients to obtain and understand project information, and communicating with agency personnel to understand regulatory requirements and submit appropriate information on behalf of [Company] clients.

Desired Qualifications:

  • BS or MS in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Meteorology, or related fields;
  • 2 to 5+ years consulting, compliance, or industry experience;
  • Experience with atmospheric emission inventory calculations, air permit application preparation, dispersion modeling, and pollution control technologies;
  • Knowledge of PA, OH, WV Regulations, and USEPA air quality regulations;
  • Knowledge of New Source Review and BACT analysis; and
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
