MDH Engineered Solutions Corp. is an engineering consulting firm providing solutions to geoenvironmental, geotechnical, hydrogeological, and environmental problems. We have offices in Saskatoon, Regina, Prince Albert, Edmonton, Fort McMurray, and Esterhazy. Research, generation of new knowledge, and development of new technology provide the edge that keeps the company involved in major projects in Canada and internationally. The nature of our project experience spans mining, industrial, and municipal waste management, hydrogeology, geology and water resource studies, natural resource development, and environmental protection.
We are looking for a technologist to join our team in Regina.
Working with the remote sensing and data acquisition group, the successful candidate will be providing field services to Engineers and other technical employees. The successful candidate will mainly be working with Ground Penetrating Radar and Ground Based LiDaR.
Qualifications:
- Technologist or applied science degree or diploma, an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel;
- Practical experience in surveying or computer programming will be considered an asset;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Willingness and proven ability to work in a team atmosphere;
- Ability to take a flexible approach to work assignments;
- Must be highly organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks while demonstrating significant attention to detail;
- Must be willing to travel;
- Must be able to trouble shoot problems in the field.
Job Duties:
- Perform Ground Penetrating Radar Surveys and process data;
- Perform Ground Based LiDaR Surveys and process data;
- Coordinate data collection and data processing with Project Managers;
- Research new technologies and field principles;
- Maintaining equipment.
