My client, a global multidisciplinary consultancy has a urgent requirement for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team based in Telford. This is a fantastic opportunity for the successful candidate to work as part of various multi-disciplinary teams delivering large scale water and wastewater projects.
Qualifications: For this role applicants are sought with a BEng (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline and who hold chartered status with a appropriate professional body.
Location: Telford commutable from Birmingham, Wolverhampton
Experience: In this instance applicants are required with demonstrable experience in delivering electrical design solutions including HV and LV distribution systems, control systems and telemetry systems. It is anticipated that the successful Electrical Engineer will have previous experience in the preparation of drawings for plant general arrangements.
Duties:
- Designing and delivering expert electrical projects including HV and LV distribution systems
- Preparation of technical drawings
- Producing tender documents
- ICA design of water and wastewater schemes
- Attending site acceptance tests
- Mentoring junior members of staff
- Liaising with clients
