Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Our client is an international and leading mining consulting engineering firm, focusing solely on the minerals sector. They are looking at expanding their Vancouver team, by adding a Principal Resource Geologist.

Responsibilities:

Geotechnical investigation, analysis and design.

Requirements:

• Degree in geology, geological engineering or mining engineering.
• P.Eng. designation obtained or eligibility to apply for registration.
• Sound interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• 10 years operational experience in hard rock mining in either open pit and/or underground mining environments.
• Sound understanding and use of mining and geotechnical software.
