Director, Technical Services

Position & Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the vice-president, innovation & technology development, you will lead a group of technical experts in the areas of mining, metallurgy, processing, hydrology, waste facilities & geo-environmental engineering & support reliability engineering. You will provide expertise services across all our Client’s operations & growth projects in support of maintaining & growing production.
  • Working with senior engineering professionals, you will ensure that these groups continue to be centres of excellence for our Client. The technical services group of innovation & technology development will also include services in electrical power distribution, maintenance engineering & technical projects development co-ordination as required.

Education & Qualifications:

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in engineering with at least 15 yrs of operations & project management, regulatory relations & regulations, & senior-level technical work exp. You must be eligible for registration with a Provincial Engineer
  • Knowledge of the industry & environment in which our Client operates is essential. Superior planning, scheduling, communication & leadership skills are required.
  • A graduate degree, keen interest in innovation & engineering technology & knowledge of the industry & environment in which our Client operates is preferred.
