A regionally based civil engineering contactor are looking to procure a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join their rapidly expanding South west business to launch a geotechnical engineering division of the company.
Based in Exeter the successful candidate will assist the board of directors to build and develop the business locally working on a number of geological site investigation projects.
Reporting to the Technical Director the successful candidate will be working on and have experience in ground investigation, laboratory testing, geotechnical design as well as a knowledge of the contracting solutions on offer including soil nailing, ground anchors, lime stabilisation, piling, structural civil’s and groundwork’s

The successful candidate will be:
• Degree qualified or equivalent but not essential
• Chartered but not essential
• Have a strong background in geotechnical projects
• Have a proven track record in successful pro
• Has experience in business development and marketing
• Has a local knowledge of the industry
• Has experience in both site investigation and Geotechnical contracting.
