Our client, a subsidiary of Russia`s leading steel (mining and metallurgical) companies, is looking for an Accountant/Assistant Accountant in its new Office in Birmingham. With presence in both Wales and Kent, our client is relocating its Head office to Birmingham, West Midlands and is looking for a new Finance team.
If you’re an accountant, part of fully qualified in ACA, ACCA or CIMA, with a background in manufacturing and/or wholesale industry and would like to gain some experience in fast-paced growing company - this could be the role for you.
The job requires you to have post qualified experience in financial and management accounting, with experience in a large corporation with turnover of a 100 million.
As an Accountant, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties including the preparation of monthly management accounts with variance reporting, preparing annual budgets and monthly rolling forecast.
Working closely with the Finance Manager, you will ensure the smooth running of the business and resolve any queries as they arise. You will also work closely with an Accounts Assistant who is responsible for the accounts payable, accounts receivable and admin functions.
