Construction Coordinator for Tool Install
Description and Desired Qualifications
- Our Construction Coordinator jobs provide you with an opportunity to work on state of the art industrial manufacturing facilities. Each day you will perform the routine aspects of assignments requiring knowledge and application of basic construction principals. You should be a self-motivated, team-focused individual that has a Bachelor's degree, and the desire to grow personally as well as professionally with each new construction project.
Our Construction Coordinators:
- Actively participate in Client's and [Company] contractor safety program, and preparation assistance of the system's specified reports.
- Coordinate the contractor activities across disciplines and manufacturer technical representatives to maintain the project schedule completion milestones.
- Assist in the implementation of the project construction plan.
- Provide input to integrated construction schedules.
- Provide problem resolutions between construction and support personnel (Engineering, Construction, Plant Operations, Manufacturer Technical Representatives).
- Coordinate plant and contractors near-by with conflicting activities.
- Organize and participate in weekly construction coordination meetings.
- Input into contractor change of scope process and assist in acquiring Client's approvals as required.
- Schedule and record required inspections.
- Responsible for administrative functions such as requests for information (RFIs), change order requests (CORs), minutes of meetings and action items.
- Coordinate planned close-out activities with the contractors.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management
- Experience with scheduling software; MS Project or P6
Degree Required
- Bachelors or 4 Year Degree
