Diesel Mechanic/Maintenance Technician - Mechanical
Primary Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Maintains and repairs a broad range of heavy and light mobile equipment. Involves a full range of mechanical repairs and maintenance including hydraulic, pneumatic, lubrication and power transmission systems. Must be able to troubleshoot and repair mechanical operating systems and equipment. Operates equipment in conjunction with repairs and provides assistance in operating functions as necessary to maintain continuous operations. May work alone with minimal supervision or other maintenance technicians.
Work Environment:
- The job is within an industrial environment and you may be required to work within various areas. Dependent upon the area you will work in, the environmental conditions can be hot, cold, dirty, greasy, wet, and noisy.
- The position requires you to work rotating shifts, which will include Saturdays and Sundays. The position also requires you to work overtime as needed.
- Additionally, safety is a core value and safety procedures/guidelines must be adhered to at all times. This includes, but is not limited to, wearing safety apparel such as hard hat, goggles, hearing protection, and protective clothing and work boots with metatarsal protection. Punctuality and attendance are extremely important to the success of the operations in general as well as contributing to an overall positive team atmosphere.
- Successful candidates will have a minimum of 1 year of related working experience or formal education.
