Accounting/Finance Management Trainee

• Entry Level openings exist in the Accounting/Finance Management Trainee Program.  This program consists of rotational assignments in several different finance related departments. While working in the assigned areas, the trainee will gain a wide range of skills and knowledge and an opportunity to gain a broad perspective of core business functions.  This program is designed to be a starting point for future Financial Managers within our growing financial global company.

Responsibilities:

• 12-18 month rotation in General Accounting working on Month End journal entries, fixed asset accounting, account and bank reconciliations.
• 9-12 month rotation in Cost Accounting developing and maintaining standard costs, assisting with inventories and special projects.
• 3-6 month rotation in Treasury/Cash Management working on cash flow forecasts and investment analysis.
• 6-9 month rotation in International Accounting working on month end reporting and analysis, performance metrics and Planning/Budgeting.
• 3-6 month rotation in Accounts Receivable/Credit and Collections working on cash applications, Credit Analysis and performance metrics.
• 3-6 month rotation in Tax Administration working on Sales Tax remittance and property tax filings. 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• 3.0 Overall GPA
• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
• Experience in Hyperion or a MRP/ERP Software system is a plus
• Ability to travel if required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs
