The Opportunity 
As a result of our strategic growth plans within our business, we currently require a Resourcer to join our recruitment team.  As a Resourcer you will be an essential part of Global Mining’s Talent Acquisition Team, assisting and supporting the end to end recruitment process, assisting with the sourcing of high calibre candidates locally, interstate and overseas.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Assist with sourcing candidates via the existing recruitment database
  • Maintain online application processes through our talent database
  • Maintain the talent database
  • Prepare advertisements, check application forms and assist with shortlisting and interviewing
  • Make arrangements and set-up interviews for short-listed candidates
  • Conduct reference and qualification checks
  • Assist with communications between applicants, hiring managers and others to keep all parties updated of the status of each
Skills & Experience
  • Experience working as a Resourcer in a client or agency environment
  • Demonstrated experience in recruitment/HR environment, preferably from the mining, resources, or engineering industry
  • Exposure to the development and implementing of recruitment strategies
  • Strong relationship management/communication skills
  • Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise
  • The ability to work under pressure
  • The ability to work with personnel from all levels
  • Diplomatic
