About our Client
Our client is a listed Mining company with International Assets who is going into production in Q1 of 2012. Based in West Perth, this role will require occasional international travel and would be a great step into the existing Finance Team. This business has very low staff turnover and would be a fantastic role in which to grow and develop.

Job Description
Reporting to the Financial Controller, your main duties will include but not be limited to:

• Monthly Management Reporting & half-yearly and year end external financial reporting
• Responsible for the overall budgets and forecasts made by the group
• Variance Analysis and trends of Operating expenditure
• Preparation of Capital Expenditure reports
• Co-ordinating month end between all offices and sites
• Assist in the preparation of monthly PAYG and quarterly BAS returns

The Successful Applicant
To be successful in this role you will be degree qualified and have completed your CA/CPA. You will have worked in a similar role in commerce and ideally have worked in a public practice environment before moving into the commercial sector. Previous Cost Accounting experience would be highly regarded, as would experience within the mining industry. This role would require international travel so the successful applicant will be happy and able to do so. Candidates currently based outside of Australia or without the appropriate visa need not apply
