  • Project Budget Control
  • Liaison with Project personnel
  • Controlling of budgets
  • Assigns contract values and captures actuals
  • Produces cash flows
  • Produces forecasts
  • Monthly Reporting
  • Monthly reports on actuals, forecasts and assigned values
  • Presentation of information
  • Cost Reports Generation
  • Prepares change of scopes
  • Generates cost sheets
  • Prepares transfer of funds
  • Prepares fund applications
  • Prepares application for closure of Projects
  • Prepares Board vote closures
  • Prepares Business Unit application for Project closure
  • Prepares capital budget requests
  • Prepares close-out report EPCM
  • Prepares schedule of fixed assets
  • Prepares monthly capitalisation schedule
  • Prepares capital budgets

Requirements for the Position

Education

  • Matric
  • Technical Degree/Diploma/Certificate/QS advantageous
Training
  • Computer Literacy
  • Costing Management Systems

SH&E

  • Safety knowledge

Experience

  • 5 years' experience in Cost Engineering
  • Experience in the Mining and Engineering sector advantageous
  • Controlling budgets, cashflows, graphs and arithmetical skills essential
