Environmental Manager

My client based in Westonaria ( Gauteng) is looking to employ an Environmental Manager to manage and supervise all aspects of the underground environmental section.

The ability to plan, organize, lead and control all the aspects associated to the position effectively.

Required qualifications and experience:

• Grade 12.
• Chamber of Mine’s Certificate in Mine Environmental Control.
• Radiation Protection Officer Certificate will be advantageous.
• Adequate experience in a mining environment.
• Fully knowledgeable on the 2013 milestones with regard to Occupational Hygiene.
• Medically fit for the position.
• Exceptional computer skills in all Microsoft Office applications.

Competencies required:

• Pass the required Medical fitness examination for underground employees.
• Assertive, innovative, a team player and able to work through instructions but also independently.
• Result orientated and ethically driven.
• Good Communication skills.
• To be able to work in a high pressure environment.
