Mine Manager

• Experience in Base Metals preferred
• Involved in resources and mineral reserve calculations
• Mine planning and design where applicable
• Management of the mining operations and conformance to Government regulations
• You will need to increase the production and efficiency of the mine and mining operations.
• Responsible for increasing safety in the mining production - compliance with occupational health and safety legislation
• Will be involved in recruitment of labour, overburden removal, capital expenditure, production ramp up
• Effective Project management where application, involved in contract management in keeping projects on time and within budget
• Managing teams

Minimum requirements:

• Required 10- 15 years’ experience in open cast mining
• Opencast mining - Dragline operations + Truck & Shovel operations (Critical!)
• Mining Engineering Qualifications
• Must be a Motswana Citizen
• Good Supervision / communication / reporting skills
• Microsoft Packages
