Maintenance Planner - Process Plant

Role:

• Organise and schedule all necessary resources required to accomplish maintenance activities at the mine located in Botswana.

Duties:

• Responsible for organising and scheduling in order to accomplish maintenance activities
• Must comply with healthy and safety regulations, company policies and procedures and the company’s environmental compliance policy.
• Prepare and issue daily and monthly work schedules
• Perform other duties as directed and needed by the company to ensure optimal safe operation.
• Prepare detailed critical path plans and job cards, including equipment and materials lists for major jobs such as planned shut downs.
• Issue and follow up on preventive maintenance inspections and procedures.
• Attend daily meetings with Maintenance and Operations representatives
• Prepare monthly reports.
• Ensure that necessary work history and documentation is properly organised and input in the computer history file.
• Set up and conduct pre-shutdown planning meetings with post start- up down day reviews.
• Ensure that equipment and material is available when required.
• Prepare weekly summary and exception reports; prepare long term plans and schedules for review and approval by process plant management.
• Ensure that critical spare and preventive maintenance evaluations are completed for new installations.
