Engineering Auditor

The Role:
This role will be working in the Auditing team focusing on Safety and Operational Risk. These auditors will work as a team to identify gaps in implementation of safety and operational standards. The role will also look at finding gaps in management systems and will recommend corrective actions and generating auditing reports collectively.

This opportunity will be based at home and will go on 2-3 weeks long audits (in groups of 10-30) and return home for another 2-3 weeks in that time my client will expect audits to regain a work life balance and prepare for the next audit as well complete any other work from the last audit.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
• Prepare for each Audit
• Analyse evidence and identify gaps and develop findings and corrective actions supported by evidence from your Operational and Maintenance experience.
• Influence and challenge senior management and stake holders.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Degree qualified (or equivalent) in relevant discipline
• Experience in working in High hazard environment
• Broad technical Background supported by extensive in depth experience in engineering.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Understanding of how to deliver Audits (this is not essential as training will be given)
• Experience of LOPA, HAZOP`s
