The Role
Reporting to the Project Controls Manager the purpose of the role is to monitor, record data and information, assistance with the preparation of the monthly project status report, and assist the project controls team in all aspects of cost control, scheduling and progress measurement and cost forecasting in order to deliver projects on time, to budget and in accordance with company and client objectives.
The key challenge facing this role is the ability to provide accurate data in a consistent and timely manner that can be used to effectively manage resources, provide accurate reports on man-hours, committed costs and actual payments. Time is often limited for the analysis of data in a timely fashion at the end of the month. Dependant on the Project size, the position also requires the ability to manage multiple tasks for a number of Project Controls Managers and/or Cost Controllers.
Role Requirements
To be considered for this opportunity interested candidates must possess the following:-
Formal Education and Qualifications (Preferable)
• Degree in engineering, business administration, finance and/or experience in a related technical field.
• Experience in estimating, planning, cost control, forecasting, progress measurement, monthly report preparation in both the engineering office and site.
• Prior experience using proprietary project controls software like Prism (preferable), MCS, etc.
Skills and Knowledge
• Strong conceptual and analytical skills.
• Numerical aptitude.

• Awareness of different types of contracts and limited contractual obligations.
• Well developed written and oral skills.
