Parts Person

We are a leading North American multi-line equipment provider, with a broad range of customers throughout Canada. Our equipment division sells and rents mobile industrial equipment and provides after sales service to customers engaged in residential and commercial construction, forestry, utilities, mining, infrastructure, road building and similar industrial activities.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Parts Manager, the Parts Person  will work closely with the  to provide best-in-class service to our External and Internal customers. This will be achieved through the following:

  • The effective support to the Parts and Warehousing departments.
  • Ensure Health and Safety compliance.
  • Focusing on inventory performance, accuracy and obsolescence, and developing strategies to improve service levels.
  • Fostering a continual improvement culture through process evaluation and improvement.
  • Establishing and maintaining housekeeping standards.
  • Ensuring staff is adequately trained and customer focused.
  • Promote personnel development through continuous coaching and mentoring of staff.
  • Responsible for working with product representatives and ensuring that we are engaged in monthly and quarterly programs and meeting their requirements.
  • Effective support with inventory turns and slow moving inventory.
  • Effective support for customer fill rates.
  • Customer relationships.
  • Candidate to have a minimum of 3-5 years working in a similar position, preferably in the Light Equipment Industry or related business.
  • Must be a team player, goal oriented, well organized, and have great leadership, communication, computer and administration skills
