Plant Manager

Requirements:

Bachelor´s Degree in Mechanical Eng, Industrial Eng or similar.
Masters Degree in related areas would be an asset
90% English (written and spoken)
More than 5 years of experience in Operations of Metal Mechanic industry.
Expert in soft tool, hard tool and painting.
Knowledge of quoting, costing, lean manufacturing, planning, continuous improvement and manufacturing processes
Ideal candidate will have excellent customer relation and communication skills, be extremely results-oriented, resilient, and have an inner passion for sustainability and a hunger to drive the business model.

Main Activities:

Will oversee a large metal enclosures manufacturing plant with over 1000 in headcount, $100 million USD in sales and have 4 Directors reporting directly including Operations, Materials, Quality, and Program Management. Will be responsible for nurturing client relationships, meeting quality and client product delivery dates, developing a high performing work group to take on more business growth and reducing personnel turnover, increasing productivity, and supporting a high growth environment. Reports to a Regional Senior Vice President/President.
Solid metal enclosures experience is required or may be substituted with sheet metal processing experience with most of the following equipment/processes: turret presses, press brakes, metal forming/bending, welding, and painting/finishing.
Contract manufacturing, automotive, aerospace experience or similar experience is preferred.
Must have previous P&L management experience.
Excellent Lean Manufacturing implementation experience and continuous improvement knowledge.
Proven track record of success in fast paced environments. Previous turnaround experience helpful.
