UG Mobile Plant Trainer

Our Client owns and operates Australia’s longest continuously running gold mining operation in Western Australia’s Southern Goldfields Region.
 
They are expanding their operations and require a UG Mobile Plant Trainer & Assessor, 
 
This is on a 8/6 roster, fly in and fly out from Perth or residential.  Residential will include housing (if available) and amenities.
 
Duties for this role will include:
 
  • Reporting to the OHS Manager  
  • Training and development of underground miners to national industry standards
  • Report writing 
  • Creating an environment that fosters a safe working environment
  • Develop and revise training and assessment resources
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement initiatives of the department
 
Requirements for this role will include:
 
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Proven competency in the operation of Integrated Tool carriers, Dump Trucks, LHD units, Boggers, Development and Production charging and the installation of services;
  • Proven competency in Training and Assessment methods and techniques to AQTF standards;
  • Good computing skills using MS Office products;
  • A good working knowledge of the WA Mine Safety and Inspection Act & Regulations, the WA Dangerous Goods Safety Act and Dangerous Goods Safety (Explosives) Regulations, and the national Metalliferous Mining Training Packages
  • Certificates and licences including WA Dangerous Good Security Card, WA Shotfirer Licence and Senior First Aid
  • C class drivers licence
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screens
  • Ability to provide 2-3 recent work references;  
  • Ability to provide a police clearance
