The role will be to engineer, design, and assist the coordination and project management in the delivery of industrialised communications solutions for the resources industry in a production and operational environment.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
· Assist with estimation of projects for quotations.
· Develop design documentation including Scopes of Work, communications and infrastructure specifications.
· Liaise with electrical engineering, instrumentation engineering, process engineering, control systems engineering and drafting personnel
· Liaise with client representatives during project life cycle.
· Assist Project Manager with project controls, procurement and resource requirements
· Preparation of test plans for function testing.
· Functional testing of communications solution / hardware
· Commissioning of communication systems
· Provision of technical support to both internal staff and clients

In order to be considered for this role, you will need the following:
· Experience with wired or wireless networking, Communication system design and implementation
· Exposure to Communications systems, industrial PLC / SCADA / HMI solutions is preferred.
· Tertiary qualification from a recognized institution (Computer Science, Communications engineering degree etc. equivalent relevant experience will be considered for suitable applicants).
· At least five years specific experience in designing communications / IT systems and project engineering.
· Resources industry field experience a distinct advantage.
