Compensation & Benefits Manager - Portuguese Speaking

Our international client has a rewarding opportunity for a Compensation and Benefits Specialist to be based in Sandton. French speaking with Engineering / mining industry experience would be a great advantage

The Purpose Of The Job To:

Render a support service with respect to market research on pay practices, service conditions and benefits, the analysis and costing of compensation and benefits, compiling of monthly management reports, calculation of annual incentive pay-outs and performance adjustments.

Qualification

• Degree or National diploma 2 years Managerial experience 

• Research compensation and benefits trends and make recommendations
• Provide internal and external benchmarking for Human Resources and Management decision-making
• Management and administration of benefit structures (Pension fund and Medical Aid).
• Provide advice on compensation, benefits & policies
• Conducting National Surveys as well as client services
• Provide advise on Policies and Procedures
• Maintain Equity in terms of alignment and payscales
• Conduct Salary/Cost Analysis and Decision Making
• Reports and make recommendation about company’s competitiveness of salary packages to the market
• Maintain Equity ( In terms of alignment as well Payscales)
• Administration of Provident Fund
• Liaison between Company and Provident Fund administrators
• Manage annual Provident Fund statements process
• Administration of Medical Aid Scheme
• Liaison between Company and Medical Aid Administrators
• Manage the processes of data gathering and participation in various salary surveys exercise and projects in alignment with HR Strategies
• Set framework for salary review and bonus process and communication to the Business
• Administration of salary & bonus process
• Communicate information on compensation and benefits updates to Payroll
• Management and maintenance of company organograms
• Update organogram management tool
• Management and maintenance of Labour Budget
• Provide monthly, quarterly and adhoc management statistics
• Compile HR Metrics and statistics
• Participation in sector and company grading benchmarking, comparison and alignment
• Provide support to HRD/OD department in Performance Management reviews
• Provide support to Recruitment and Management in salary decision-making
• Compile employment contracts
