Job Specification

The role:

Learners that are able to demonstrate their competence with respect to specific learning objectives

Identification and provision of structured and targeted skills development opportunities in the workplace

Assessment of learners for their achievement of learning outcomes in terms of specified criteria using pre-designed assessment instruments

Guidance and advice to learners and career progression options and also referring learners to appropriate counselling professionals

Existence of a safe and healthy work environment where learners can learn within a controlled risk environment

You will need:

Competencies:

Facilitation of learning, Assessment, Development of learning material, Learner Guidance and support

Personal Attributes:

Time conscious, Performance driven, Results driven, Structured, Organised, Client orientated, Assertive

Knowledge & Skills:

Verbal/Written communication skills, strong customer focus, high degree of accuracy, ability to deliver results, perform under pressure, sound interpersonal relations and team player, administration skills, ability to work independently, detail consciousness

Requirements:

Grade 12
Relevant Artisan Trade qualification
At least 3 year's experience as an instructor
Valid drivers license
Applicant must be able to pass medical fitness certification for this position
