Accounts Payable Analyst

Krupp Canada Inc. is a world leader in the design and supply of bulk materials handling systems.  Its products include conveyor systems, in-pit crushing plants, rotary breakers, and continuous ship loaders. With the oil sands industry continually expanding in Northern Alberta, Krupp has concentrated on supplying oil producers with the necessary equipment for oil sands mining and processing. Under the leadership of the Senior Management Accountant (SMA) this position has responsibilities for the processing of all accounts payables submitted manually and electronically, development and maintenance of vendor files, as well as preparing the weekly cheque production run.  Other responsibilities include the resolution of any vendor invoice discrepancies and reconciliation of vendor accounts.

Job Duties

• Collection of accounts payable invoices from vendors
• Track/update vendor and employee worksheets
• Coding accounts payable invoices and posting to ACCPAC
• Inputting accounts payable invoices into ACCPAC
• Working with the Senior Project Accountant regarding project vendor invoices
• Printing and preparing vendor cheques for review and approval
• Recording check deposits received into ACCPAC
• Preparing and making bank deposits when required
• Reconcile vendor A/P statements
• Solve any discrepancies on invoices
• Maintain customer and vendor files
• Prepare monthly accrual sheet

Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 year of Accounts Payables experience is required
• University Degree or College diploma in Accounting would be an asset
• Must be computer literate with applied knowledge of MS Office
• Knowledge of ACCPAC and/or SAP is preferred
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• High level of personal integrity
