Reporting to the District Human Resources Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- General administrative and executive support tasks for the District Human Resources Manager
- Schedule meetings and appointments, prepare agendas and maintain Outlook calendars
- develop and maintain contact lists
- Develop and maintain Organizational Charts using Org Plus
- Track HR and Training budgets and expenditures
- Take Minutes at Weekly Department Meetings
- Assist with organizing corporate events
- Maintain confidential electronic and paper filing systems
- Assist with travel and accommodation arrangements and expense reporting
- Other duties deemed necessary to contribute to the success of the Human Resources department
Qualifications for this position include:
- 5+ years' experience in a senior executive administrative role
- Intermediate level (or better) MS Office skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Org Plus will be considered a definite asset
- Experience building PowerPoint presentations
- Exceptional written, oral and presentation communication skills
- Emotionally mature with the ability to work with highly confidential information and material
- Confident, well organized and outgoing
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
