Lead Cost Engineer

Job Description

  • Overall coordination and implementation of related matters with regard to field Cost Management for the project.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for implementation of the Field Project Control requirements with regard to Cost Management.
  • Review Project Controls execution function requirements for cost management services in contract agreements.
  • Prepare, maintain, and analyze cost reports and cash flow data for Alaska fabrication, construction and logistics.
  • Re-cast the Project Estimate into the Control Baseline for field execution.
  • Review cost reports from contractors to ensure compliance with contract terms and Project Controls requirements.
  • Support the change management work process as defined for the change management procedure. Liaise with Estimating, Engineering and Scheduling as required.
  • Provide Contingency Analyses as needed for reviews with Project Team.
  • Reports to the Infrastructure Project Controls Manager.

Basic Job Requirements

  • Four-year Bachelors technical degree or non-technical Bachelors degree with business and computer software courses
  • 15+ years of relevant experience in Engineering, Construction, or Project Controls.
  • In addition to the experience requirements noted, individuals must have experience as a CTL/CTM for a medium- to large-sized projects
