• The Northwest District conducts its operations primarily through[Company] ., a subsidiary of[Company] . We are based in Vancouver, Washington, working on heavy civil projects up and down the West Coast in Alaska, Washington, Oregon, California and Hawaii. Our diverse mix of projects includes airport runways, mine development, earth-fill and concrete dams, breakwaters and jetties, utilities and infrastructure, and asphalt and concrete paving. 

Responsibilities

• One of North Americas largest and most respected construction and engineering organizations has an immediate opening for a Mechanical Engineer to help our equipment group increase their operating efficiencies.
• The ideal candidate must possess a four-year degree in Mechanical Engineering, 1-3 years’ experience, willingness to relocate as needed and have the ability to work 50+ hours per/wk.

Qualifications

• Minimum four-year degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 1-2 years' experience in an equipment maintenance or construction environment preferred.
• Working knowledge of solid works, design software, and Auto Desk Inventor is strongly preferred. 
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to relocate as needed & work 50+ hours per week.
