Manager, Human Resources
Position Summary
- This position is required to provide overall HR leadership and strategy to support the business growth including developing and implementing a full range of Human Resources programs for the Logistics and Materials function along with attracting and developing key talent. The position leadership needs to assure that all group programs, policies and activities are developed and delivered in an effective & timely manner. This role includes leadership of the CDC in Champaign IL.
- The overall responsibilities are for the development, delivery and effectiveness of all human resource initiatives, in all regions. The Human Resources manager will work with the local Human Resources team and generalists in the EMEA, Canada, Asia Pacific, Latin America and US regions in supporting the global logistics and materials organization. The position will provide leadership in the implementation of various strategic and operational human resources initiatives and ensures linkage of HR strategies with business objectives.
- This includes talent acquisition, talent management, succession planning, leadership review, performance management, training, development, compensation, benefits, employee relations, communication, organization development, HR shared service management and other human resources functions. This position will provide counsel and direction on related matters to the logistics/materials leadership teams.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Human Resources.
- Knowledge of HR functional issues, including talent development with a focus on career development, Compensation and Benefits, Succession Planning, Leadership Review and Organizational Development is preferred.
- The ability to build relationships and to work effectively across different functional lines in a multicultural environment.
- The ability to think globally and take a broad view of the business and its opportunities is required.
- Willing to travel when necessary.
