Technician
Position Summary
- In this role you would be responsible for building and debugging test equipment and engineering prototypes.
- Under general supervision, perform mechanical, electromechanical or electrical technical duties in the fabrication, testing, debugging and documentation of simple to moderately complex prototype and test equipment assemblies.
- Work from schematics, blueprints, technical manuals and verbal/written instructions.
- Be proficient with a variety of test equipment.
- Repair simple test equipment and prototypes.
- Receive technical guidance from senior level technicians and engineers.
- Give technical guidance to lower level technicians.
- Procure parts and tools necessary to complete the projects assigned.
- Run moderately complex to simple tests on prototypes and components. Record test data.
- Write test specifications for discrete components.
- Ability to utilize analytical and mathematical skills appropriate to responsibilities.
- Ability to learn and to increase and update knowledge and methods affecting area of responsibility.
Education Requirements:
- ASEE, ASET or equivalent experience.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years related experience.
