Responsibilities

  • The Business Intelligence Analysts primary responsibility is to design, build and implement reporting and analytic reporting solutions for various business units within the organization. 
  • The Business Intelligence Analyst will work closely with functional analysts to develop technical solutions for the delivery of key business information.  Additionally, the Business Intelligence Analyst will work closely with project teams and the business to ensure that the right BI solutions are implemented to support the business initiatives.
  • Participate in the analysis, design, development, testing, documentation, implementation, and maintenance of reporting solutions for the business.
  • Create reporting solutions that enforce a data architecture and master data roadmap that provides a single consistent version of the truth regardless of the source.
  • Design robust, scalable reporting systems.
  • Adhere to the architecture and roadmap defined to support executive and ad-hoc reporting.
  • Ensure all IM projects with Business Intelligence components support IM¿s strategy of only reporting actionable information in a consistent manner regardless of the source. 
  • Must be able to multi-task, manage time constraints and make deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Five (5)+  years’ experience in Business Intelligence, relational and multi-dimensional databases.
  • Broad knowledge of business intelligence concepts including ETL, report delivery strategies, dashboards, master data management, data architecting, analytics, data warehousing, metadata management, security filtering by role and audience targeting.
  • Experience in SAP Business Objects, SAP Business Warehouse, and Reporting Services.
  • SharePoint Knowledge.
  • Knowledge and experience integrating reports and Business Intelligence into applications.
  • Knowledge and experience with techniques used to support real-time reporting scenarios.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team
  • Bachelors and/or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Information Technology or Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Preferred consideration will be given to candidates who also possess any of the following:
  • Experience with other BI platforms and/or tools
