Project Accountant

Our company is the world's fourth largest iron ore producer. Our two mines, 300km railway and deepwater, multi-user port are located in the heart of the Pilbara - the world's best address for iron ore. We've produced and exported more than 100 million tonnes of iron ore in less than three years but we're not stopping there. In 2011, our company is kicking off a transformative expansion program to triple our production to 155mtpa over the next two years. Our expansion plans involve growth at our port and rail operations, upgrades of our existing mines and the creation of a new mine called the Solomon Hub.

Our company are currently seeking an experienced Project Accountant to become a part of our Project Finance team. Reporting to the Manager of Project Accounting your key responsibilities will include:

• Delivering accurate and timely project accounting information
• Reconciliation of SAP with specific Project Controls systems in the key areas of Budget, Commitment and Actuals
• Building strong relationship with Project Stakeholders

Suitable candidates will have:

• Degree in Accounting/Commerce
• CPA or CA status preferred
• Experience with Capital or Project accounting
• Mining/Resources experience
• Excellent computer skills including a good knowledge of SAP and Excel
