Cadd Drafter 2

• Must be local to the Jacksonville area; Only Local Candidates Will Be Considered!

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Performs CADD drafting functions using MicroStation, GeoPak, CAiCE and some AutoCAD software
• Assists Roadway Design Engineer with the preparation of roadway design plans
• Calculates earthwork and other quantities
• Performs roadway design CADD functions with minimal supervision
• Communicates effectively and works well with other team members to meet goals
• Prior experience with Florida Department of Transportation would be helpful

Basic and Required Qualifications:

• Minimum years of experience: 6
• Education required: HS Diploma
• Skills required: MicroStation, GeoPak, CAiCE and some AutoCAD software, experience drafting DOT Transportation projects

Additional and Preferred Qualifications:

• Education preferred: AS or Technical degree
• Skills preferred: Florida DOT knowledge
• This position does not requires travel. Travel amount is negligible.
• A valid driver's license and clean driving record is required for this position.
• This position does not manage others.
