Field Technician

Overview:

• We are seeking a motivated and accomplished self-starter and effective team player to monitor contractor's geotechnical and environmental activities in accordance with project contract documents, design intent, and good construction practice.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and test structural fills for buildings and roads
• Installation of piles, caissons, PIFs, lateral support and underpinning systems
• Vibration monitoring
• Soil, bedrock, and groundwater sampling, identification, and characterization
• Concrete testing
• Use of various geotechnical and environmental equipment
• Participate in team meetings
• Produce daily field reports

Requirements:

• 0 to 5 years’ experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Basic Excel and Word capabilities
• A valid driver's license
• A high school diploma is required but a Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is preferred
