About our Client
My client is a relatively small Mining Services business but with strong verticals across the Mining sector. This is positioning them for some excellent growth next year and due to this growth, they now require the services of an experienced senior finance professional.
Job Description
The role will be responsible for the following areas:
- All Financial and Management reporting for the Australian business to the Senior Management and Board.
- Assisting in decision making within relation to life of Mine, feasibility studies and related analysis for various clients.
- Management of a small and growing finance team
- Oversight and involvement in contract negotiations, commercial ventures and pricing structures.
- Assisting the CEO and senior management with business development and strategic growth objectives.
The Successful Applicant
The successful applicant shall possess the following:
- Strong experience across Mine site operations and finance matters around this.
- Extensive exposure to corporate accounting and strong analytical depth around life of mine, feasibilities, etc
- CA / CPA qualified with broad and considerable post qualification exposure to technical financial matters
- Strong cost reporting exposure
- Exposure to underground mining and producing mine sites will be highly regarded.
