About our Client
Our ASX listed client is an internationally recognized company in the mining industry, who due to maternity leave, is seeking a Financial Controller to join their team. This is a great opportunity for a Financial Controller with a positive hands-on approach

Job Description
Reporting to the General Manager, the key responsibilities of the role will include:

• Preparation of all financial reports including monthly, quarterly and yearly as well as all internal and external financial reports.
• Preparation, documentation and implementation of accounting policies and procedures
• Involved in financial analysis to ensure continued business growth.
• Ensuring all reports and statements are conducted with extreme care regarding financial policies and procedures.
• Overseeing all aspects of the Finance Team, including oversight of day to day responsibilities of Accounts Payable and Payroll.

The Successful Applicant
To be considered for this role, the successful candidate should be a fully professionally qualified Accountant. Our client requires previous significant experience in a similar role, as well as being immediately available or able to start in December at the latest. The successful candidate should have first-rate process skills, as well as being exceedingly knowledgeable with regards to accounting standards.
