  • Relocation is available for this role Responsible to conduct training in the mechanical and reliability disciplines. Support growth opportunities through developing programs for the Customer Services group and O&M complete project training package (mechanical, electrical/instrumentation, and operation disciplines.)

Responsibilities:

  • Interface with a customer/end user of training to determine what that customer/end user requires for detail and technical content in the training. Develop and deliver training material for courses and seminars or supervise other persons who will develop or deliver those materials. Perform sales contacts by telephone, email, and travel to promote seminars, on-site training and other business opportunities. Identify business opportunities for training in the minerals, and related industries. Prepare training proposals, and follow up with the customers. Assist in the development of the annual budget for Services Training Department. Provide mechanical and reliability technical support to the O&M department at SLC and the projects where we have a contract.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent work experience. At least 5 yrs. in plant maintenance experience in minerals, cement or related industry. Fluent in English and technical Spanish languages required. Proficiency in the use of computer software, preferably Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Power point, and desk top publishing. Interface effectively with all levels of Company personnel and customers and present a professional image consistent with representing Company.
  • Be able to work on several projects simultaneously and adapt to a changing work environment. Be able to work independently to handle a variety of managerial functions in a prompt, efficient, accurate, and confidential manner. Emphasis is on Reliability & Maintenance.
  • Spanish and English language skills very helpful.
