Job Description
Reporting to the Health & Safety Manager, the position carries responsibility for training and assessing use of equipment in all mining areas of the site. Development of training plans will be a key objective and management of three reports is incorporated into daily duties.

The Successful Applicant
It is essential to have practical experience operating a wide range of underground mining equipment, with a minimum of 4 years experience in a similar role with a strategic understanding of training systems and the RII09 package. Applicants should hold: 

• Cert IV in Workplace Training and Assessment 
• Cert IV in OHS 
• Senior First Aid 

Emergency management, people management and strong communication skills are essential to this role. 
Applicants will be required to complete a pre- employment medical.
