Job Summary:

  • [Company] is looking for an energetic and results oriented individual with a scientific background to join our team. This position is a technical position in support of sales for our X-ray Fluorescence (XRF) analyzers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • This position requires working closely with the sales and marketing staff in order to increase sales. • This includes analyzing samples; write polished reports demonstrating our advantages, speaking with customers to understand their requirements, and travel for key technical demos. Up to 25 % travel is required, mostly in North America. As part of this travel, this individual will participate in a variety of demos and trainings. He/she will reinforce sales trainings and help to ensure that our sales force is up to date on recent improvements, and understands the technical advantages of our products
  • This role will also focus on new or non-standard applications.
  • Secondary responsibilities are varied and may include such tasks as providing customer training, technical writing, and acting as a general technical resource as required. Issues to be resolved will range from general application support to complex debugging of error conditions to providing innovative solutions to meet the specific requirements of our customers

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will be able to operate independently, show initiative, and exhibit good business judgment.
  • Strong data analysis ability as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for success in this position.

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • A minimum of a BS degree (or equivalent) in Chemistry, Physics or other applicable technical discipline is required.
