Accounts Assistant

With an impressive history stretching over 55 years, this major freight forwarding company operates in 9 countries all over the world. With major expansion and projects coming up they intend to take on an extra Accounts Assistant to add to their accounts team.

This role will be a very hands on role and also has the scope to lead to supervising more junior members of the team. Reporting to the Finance Manager you will have had strong experience from a similar industry and have previously used the accounts software EDI.

Duties will include accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations and multiple overseas transactions. You will also be responsible for handling all foreign currency and transport invoices. You must have a strong understanding of the freight forwarding industry and a passion to work in it.
