We currently have an exciting vacancy for a Training Coordinator to join our Coobina operations and play an integral role in the training and assessment of all employees and the maintaining of a safe workplace.
Reporting to the OSH Superintendent, you will develop, coordinate and deliver internal training packages, and assessment tools to meet operational training requirements.
Responsibilities include:
•Development of training packages and assessment tools.
•Design, Source and facilitate training needs interventions to meet business needs
•Delivering skills and knowledge training in line with site requirements to achieve a safe and competent workforce.
•Conducting training needs analysis
•Assisting to develop a training matrix of courses to support site needs and schedule individual assessments and training plans in line with the matrix
To be considered for this role you will have:
•Excellent presentation and communication skills
•A minimum qualification of a Certificate IV TAA (Trainer and Assessor)
•At least 5 years experience in training or education
•Experience developing and implementing training systems
You will also be experienced in mobile and heavy equipment handling and have a demonstrated awareness of Occupational Health and Safety principals and systems.
You will be able to work independently as well as part of a team. The ability to be innovative, proactive and the capability to work under pressure are essential to the success of this position.
