Vice President Sales

A leading global ground geophysical services group, is pleased to announce a number of openings to join its expanding team of professional geoscientists. With this organization you will be exposed to proven deep exploration technologies. As an employee, you will be working in one of the company’s three focus areas, specifically Mining. The other two areas are Oil & Gas  and Geothermal.

Successful candidates will possess strong communication skills, requisite sales or technical skills, and a keen desire to excel and ensure customer satisfaction—an important element of our client success. Educational credentials are flexible, although candidates with advanced degrees, particularly, in geophysics, or geology are preferred.

Functions:

You will need a minimum ten to fifteen of years of experience in a dynamic sales environment specializing in Mining and Exploration.

  • Lead, organize and motivate the sales team
  • Identify and implement strategies to achieve company sales goals
  • Develop and support relationships with new and existing clients in mining & exploration
  • Sell the company’s services to the decision makers and their support teams globally
  • Excellent inter-personal skills and strong closing abilities
  • Experience in developing and managing a sales team, setting sales objectives & organizing sales globally
  • Superior organizational skills
  • We want a hands on sales professional who leads by example
  • The company is a global leader in providing geophysical survey services worldwide
  • Headquartered in Toronto, the company has several international locations
  • Sales Associates are located in all six offices that the company operates worldwide
  • An above average benefit package includes a pension plan

Key Skills – Must have at least two of the following:

  • Proven Sales management skills
  • Domain expertise in Geophysics – particularly DCIP/ MT
  • Mining Client Rolodex relationships
