Senior Geologist

Responsibilities & Duties

Reporting to the Chief Mining Engineer the Senior Geologist will be responsible for all aspects of the exploration drilling program. The position is camp based at the Brewery Creek Project approximately 45 km east of Dawson City, Yukon Territory. Work schedule will be normally a 20 days on and 10 days off rotation.

The Senior Geologist will be responsible for all aspects of the exploration drilling program. Candidates should be capable of managing multiple drills and drill types at the same time during an aggressive drill campaign to bring the advanced stage property to the feasibility study. The successful candidate will also be able to manage the geologic staff to ensure all Corporate Procedures and Protocols are followed including health and safety, QA/QC, field data validation and communication with the Project Manager and Corporate office.

Education & Experience

+15 years of mining and exploration experience with +5 years managing drill projects
Minimum BS degree in Geology or Mining Engineering
Proficient in Microsoft software, knowledge of ARCGIS, Target, Vulcan and other exploration software.
High level of knowledge and understanding of QA/QC requirements for drill projects
Ensure all data is validated and capable for use in 43-101 compliant resource calculations
