A leading engineering, procurement and construction company is looking for Inspection Coordinators with a proven engineering background to join either an Oil&Gas or Mining project. This role could be a contract or staff position.
Candidates shall be self motivated and able to work independently. They shall have the necessary skills to support the Supplier Quality Surveillance function. You will be required to maintain direct and regular contact with project engineering and procurement teams to ensure that agreed Inspection strategy is implemented.
The successful candidate should have experience of and be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of the following:
• Inspection Coordination.
• The review of inspection reports for technical content, and compliance with client standards.
• The review of inspection and test plans.
• The Selection and assignment of agency inspectors.
• Be able to give direction and technical guidance to inspectors.
• The conduct of supplier shop surveys.
• Technical knowledge of equipment and system materials, certification, welding, non destructive examination, and manufacturing processes.
• The latest international codes and standards.
It is essential for this role that you have an engineering qualification and background. You must also have previous experience as an Inspection Coordinator in the Oil&Gas, Petrochemical or Mining industry.
