Firmware Test Project Engineer
Position Summary
- Performs intermediate to complex software testing activities including, but not limited to, test architecture, test development, planning, scheduling, cost assessment and execution under the direction of Sr. Project Engineers and Project Managers. Has responsibility for all aspects of test within a program. May require collaboration across disciplines and business units. Has indirect supervision of test engineers and test technicians on assigned projects. Responsible for contributing to the development of new test processes and methodologies for the business unit. Focus is on delivering high quality product, in an efficient manger.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering, with concentration in software; or equivalent knowledge in the areas of software engineering (software requirements analysis, software design, software testing).
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in Software Testing, Software Development, Applications Engineering work, Technical Support, or other Testing/Quality Assurance role.
- Familiar with scrum process.
- Strong knowledge of software test methodologies required.
- Experienced in the development of test automation solutions and frameworks.
Desired Qualifications
- Masters degree desired.
- Supervisory experience is desired.
- Experience with Rockwell Automation products or other industrial control equipment is required.
