About our Client
Our client is an ASX listed junior mining company, who have a strong portfolio of assets in WA. These are well defined and resourced and have the potential to develop significant revenue for the business and return to shareholders. The business will continue extensive strategic review and development over the coming months and as such are looking to add a Financial Controller to the corporate team.

Job Description
Reporting to the CFO you will be responsible for the management of a small finance team. This role will also see you take charge of the monthly financial and management report preparation. This process needs to be improved and developed as the company grows so this will be tasked to the Financial Controller also.

 In addition you will be responsible for the monthly forecasting and will have the opportunity to support the strategic review of current assets and potential acquisition targets. Overall the Financial Controller will work closely with the CFO to control quality of information produced by the finance team.

The Successful Applicant

• You will be CA/CPA qualified and have prior experience working in a similar role within a commercial environment, preferably mining or a related industry. 
• A strong reporting and procedural control skill set is something the CFO is looking for in a potential candidate, as is the ability to work proactively in an fast past, dynamic business. 
• Prior experience with system development or implementation would also be beneficial.
