Chemical laboratory technician (Instrumentation Technician)

Education: Completion of high school, Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not applicable

Experience: Experience an asset

Area of Specialization: Analytical chemistry, Geochemistry

Type of Work Experience: Analysis, Process troubleshooting, Quality assurance and control

Type of Industry Experience: Mineral resources and mining

Analytical Techniques: Spectroscopy, Sampling

Specific Skills: Set up and conduct chemical experiments, tests and analyses, Operate and maintain laboratory equipment

Additional Skills: Know and use computer hardware and software

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation
