Research Scientist

Description:

  • [Company] has an opening for a Research Chemist in our Energy Services Group in Sugar Land, TX. The Research Scientist will be responsible for the development fracturing fluid systems using available components. Additionally, this position will also entail the development of component chemical products used in fracturing fluid systems. The Scientist will develop the fluid system and necessary data packages supporting the field utilization of the system. The latter is done working within customer goals and specifications. A further aspect of this position is to interface with customers to obtain their requirements and to relay technical results.

Qualifications
The qualifications the candidate will have include:

M.S. degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or closely related discipline

  • B.S. degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or closely related discipline with a minimum of 5 years of industry experience
  • [Company] Energy Services division provides on-site, problem-solving innovations to the global petroleum and petrochemical industries. Our upstream process applications improve oil and gas recovery and production, extend production equipment life and decrease operating costs. Our downstream process applications increase refinery and petrochemical plant efficiency and the useful life of customer assets while improving refined and petrochemical product quality and yields.
