This global mining giant is a leader in their field with multiple operations across Australia.  With continued growth forecast throughout 2012 and beyond they have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant to join the corporate reporting team based in Brisbane’s CBD.

Reporting to the Principle Accountant you will be responsible for ensuring the financial integrity of corporate and consolidated management reporting for the joint venture.  This will include monthly reporting, variance analysis, half year and year end reporting, preparation of annual budget and five year plan submissions and any other ad-hoc projects as requested by management.

To be the successful incumbent you will have completed your CA/CPA and have developed a strong working history in a large corporate environment.  You will ideally have experience within mining and resources coupled with a strong working knowledge of SAP.  Through your previous work experience you will have managed 5 year rolling budgets / forecasts and have developed efficient time management and communication skills with the ability to identify trends and anomalies.
